Smith Texas Enterprise Ventures, LLC is a boutique Central Texas real estate firm. Our goal isn't to see how big we can get, but how small we can stay. Rather than employing a large, cost-heavy full-time staff, we partner with the best-in-breed professionals in the market. We maintain a lean overhead structure and scale up quickly as project needs dictate — whether in finance, accounting, legal, architecture, engineering, or construction management. This disciplined approach to managing overhead allows us to price our product more competitively and derive greater profitability as we exit our projects.
Leadership
Brian E. Smith has been an Austin resident for over 25 years. He spent most of that time as the President and CEO of an investment advisory and wealth management firm, developing deep experience across all types of investments — from deal structure and capital markets to direct real estate development.
He has raised both debt and equity capital to successfully fund numerous real estate projects, and has personally invested in many of those same ventures. His investment experience spans the acquisition, management, and development of residential, multi-family, hotel, and light-industrial office/warehouse properties throughout Texas and beyond.
